  1. Devotion, Prayer Request and Prayer
  2. Read and/or approve minutes
  3. Share family-ministry reports
    • Hear Reports
    • Discuss special needs and concerns
    • Pray for church members and families
  4. Training.  Use resources a Deacon Magazine, other leadership and ministry materials, Ministry Grid training, and so forth 
  5. Discuss.  Items for discussion should be submitted in writing to the chairman in advance, then listed in priority order.
  6. Pastor's Section.  The pastor should discuss matters of special interest and concern to deacons
  7. Information.  Reports should be provided by the church staff, the church-leadership team, and other leaders as necessary - for information only, not for review or actions.
  8. Close with prayer.
